I use my basic hummus recipe for this and add the Tilbury’s Tumeric and Ginger Concentrate. If you can’t get a hold of this concentrate (I suggest that you try to though Click here to purchase) the ingredients are tumeric, ginger, lemon juice, orange juice and pepper. I generally always try to use fresh ingredients and if you use fresh tumeric the texture will end up a lot smoother.
- 2 tins Chick peas
- 60 mls lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Tahini
- 1 tbsp Tumeric and Garlic Concentrate
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp Sweet Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt Use as much or as little as you like it just helps with the taste
- 60 mls olive oil Plus extra for mixture
- Add all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Mixture should become creamy if it isn't add oil until it does.
